siri's visit
My best friend from childhood came to visit from Seattle this past weekend at 35 weeks pregnant. She looked amazing and feels pretty good. Its a good thing, too. Before coming here she had spent the week in Mexico, and she heads to Maui for her last trip before the baby is born this week, leaving her son behind with her parents. I am excited for her, and a tad bit jealous.
Unlike our last visit, which involved late night karaoke and a few too many cocktails, wee had a very laid back visit...nap schedules and pregnancy will do that! But we were able to get together with old friends, and enjoy some beautiful weather, good food, and a little shopping. Out of character for both of us, we did not snap any photos of our outings. I was able to get this one...London wasn't very cooperative, but Siri looks great! I am looking forward to visiting her once the little one arrives.

i respond pretty well to guilt trips
Brittney told me if she opened up my blog and saw the sleep post one more time, she was going to lose it! I knew I hadn't posted in a while...when I went to download photos I had over 200 on my camera from the past two months. So I have disappeared into a Chicago winter, and am just now emerging. I'm okay with that. I haven't gone anywhere this year, so all of my recent photos were taken around Chicago and most are of my favorite model. I am going to try to do better.
